Capt. Smith of the Hunter, in 42 days from Gibraltar, arrived at Baltimore on Thursday.-He informs that previous to his sailing a Portuguese 74 arrived from a cruize off Algiers. where she sunk an Algerine cruizer, and picked up 164 of the crew and 16 Neapolitan prisoners that were on board. Lord Nelson, lays off Toulon, with 14 sail of the line. The Victory of 98 guns, took on her passage from England to Malta, the French frigate Ambassade and several merchantmen, from St. Domingo The British cruizers out of Gibraltar. have sent in several Danes.Swedes, &c. on suspicion of their cargoes being French property. The Emperor of Morocco has 6 cruizers ready for sea, and it is thought to cruize against the Americans.--Markets very dull at Gibraltar, fine flour, 7 dolls. no sale for beef, pork, coffee, sugar, nor pepper.
