Shocked at the wanton, inhuman massacre made by the military in St. George's Fields, and more shocked, if possible, at the deaf ear that has been turned to Mr. Allen's parental, unregarded petition to the King, a certain patriotic member of the Lower House has determined to move next session of Parliament for a clause to be inserted in the mutiny bill, making it death for any soldier to fire upon his Majesty's subjects, under any pretence whatever, unless it be in times of open rebellion, or actual invasion.
