THE GREEKS.

The Committee of the Greek Fund in Philadelphia acknowledge the receipt of $100 from the Congregation of St. James's Church, Lancaster-$50 from S. Duncan, of Aaronsburg, Pennsylvania-$115, the collections after a sermon preached in St. Mary's Church, by the Rev. Mr O'Mealy—$50 from Judge Young—$50 from Mr W.J. Lamb- and $100 from "a friend to the civil and religious rights of man."

We presume the war of words on the Greek question is over in the H. of R--and that Mr. Webster's resolutions, which have been laid on the table, on the motion of Mr. Rich, may sleep there till the end of the session.

We cannot regret the delay of spreading Mr. Randolph's Speech before our readers in our last, as it has given us an opportunity of publishing a corrected copy of it.-The errors are not numerous. The wonder is that there are no more of them. It was taken down by Mr Gales-and it is an astonishing specimen of the powers of short-hand writing. Much credit is due the V. Intelligencer for its great exertions in publishing the Greek Debate.

We are requested to say, that the statements of the condition of the Greeks in the Preamble to the resolutions agreed to, last evening, were. as suggested in the Select Committee, taken from the most authentic materials furnished by the able and elaborate Address of the Boston Committee-supposed to be from the pen of Professor Everett.
