Sunday, Nov. 20th, is the presentation of Victor Mascoll by Clarence Cameron White Club. Save the date. I expect the ad with full particulars will be any week, now.
My dealings with undertakers, as organist, has been so uniformly pleasant that I am quite taken back by encountering one who refuses to pay for my service. Most musicians hand envelopes or cash to the organist and soloist immediately after the service, or mail checks within a few days.
This situation is the second time I have had the same trouble with the same fellow, and I am moved to warn all of my colleagues to make sure of your pay before working a funeral for this man. I am not publishing his name today, but may in the future. I will tell any musician who he is on request.
