Kansas City, Mo., Jan. 30.—A special to the Times from Liberty states that the Sheriff of Clay county arrived there to-day with E. M. Samuels, Ed T. Miller and G. James. The prisoners were captured this morning at the home of Samuels on suspicion of being aiders and abettors of the James boys. Miller was heavily armed at the time of his capture. The supposition is that the James boys were at the house last Tuesday night; that a desperate fight ensued and that they escaped. The general impression prevails at Liberty that the real accomplices of the James boys have been captured, but they appear to take the whole matter as a joke.
