Superiority of the Detroit Electric Forms Part of Conversation

Following the custom now in vogue for some years past, the complete executive, sales and factory organization of the Anderson Electric Car Co. held a dinner and smoker at the Island View house, Walkerville, on Thursday evening, Oct. 3.

The trip from the factory on Clay-ave., was made in 20 Detroit Electric cars as far as Jefferson and East Grand-blvd., where the cars were stored at the Detroit Electric garage, known as station B. From that point, the remainder of the trip to the Island View house, was covered by steamer.

Quite naturally the major subject of the evening was a very complete discussion of the manufacture and sales of Detroit Electrics. It is needless to say that this subject was thoroughly considered from all angles and points of view.

It would not have been possible for 65 members of the Anderson Electric organization to get together at this time and not speak in glowing terms of the great success which the newest Detroit Electric is meeting with at the hands of the public.

This new car, known as the Detroit Electric Model 42, has been specially named the clear vision brougham and all people who have viewed it for the first time, are united on the opinion that this name is a very apt one.
