The Entertainments.—The two Exhibitions by the Young Ladies and Gentlemen of Van Buren, given for the benefit of the fund for repairs on the Presbyterian Church, was, as a whole, a perfect success and reflected much credit on all who took part. The play of "Pleasant Neighbors," was by request repeated the second night. It was well sustained in all its parts and that of Christopher and Nancy Strap, played to perfection.

Great credit is due Mr. Sam Martin, the manager, for the complete success in which the whole performance was brought out.

The sum realized, over and above all expenses was two hundred dollars, which will form a nucleus around which all other contributions can gather to put the church in a safe, as well as respectable condition.
