Local Women Attend Federal Writers' Meet
Mrs. L. M. Huffman and Mrs. J. W. Barineau were in Charlotte last Wednesday to attend a meeting of the supervisors of the Federal Writers' Project. All data obtained during the life of the project will be compiled and used in the proposed American Guide.
Mrs. Huffman and Mrs. Barineau, who conducted the work in five counties, had the satisfaction of hearing the district supervisor, C. V. Cotter, make the statement that the data collected in these five counties was of outstanding merit and among the best and most complete turned in.
