From Biggar, Leadhills, Wanlockhead, and several other places in the south of Scotland, we have accounts that oatmeal is fallen from 15d. to 10d. per peck, almost instantaneously; and that the crop of oats is remarkably good all over that country, so that a further fall of grain is soon expected.

From Elgin of Murray we are likewise informed that oatmeal, which before harvest was selling at 14d. per peck, is now, by means of the very plentiful crop they have had, reduced to 10d. and they are in great hopes of its still falling considerably.
