Large Potato Yield.

Daniel Holt, Esq., of Terryville, brought for our inspection a few days since, a basket of potatoes of the pink eye genus, the product of a single potato, planted last spring. The weight of the original seed was three fourths of a pound, and the yield sixteen pounds! Out of the number comprising the yield there were eight weighing one pound each. All were of fair size, and very smooth. Mr. Holt intends to try his hand on the whole lot next season, when we hope to hear from him again --[Waterbury American.
