Full Text

The Nashua Gazette, hitherto a supporter of republican principles and measures, has been transferred by Mr Thayer, (the gentleman who for several years has conducted it much to his credit) to Israel Hunt, Jr. Esq. a resident of Dunstable. We are informed that the future course of the Gazette will be a liberal one, "both in politics and religion." Such may be the case: but the known political preferences of Mr Hunt incline us to believe that the paper will be of a cast suited to the taste of the most incorrigible Jacksonian. We would not prejudge, however.

Event Details

The Nashua Gazette, hitherto a supporter of republican principles and measures, has been transferred by Mr Thayer, who conducted it for several years, to Israel Hunt, Jr. Esq., a resident of Dunstable. The future course of the Gazette will be a liberal one, both in politics and religion, though the known political preferences of Mr Hunt suggest it will suit incorrigible Jacksonians.
