HOOPERS CREEK, July 10.— Mrs. D. O. Garren is at the Mountain Sanitarium for treatment.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Middleton, of Indiana, are visiting relatives here.
Miss Clara Garren spent Saturday night with Mrs. Avie Suttles.
Edward Barnwell, of the CCC camp, spent the week-end at his home here.
Miss Gertrude Williams, of Sylva, has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Williams.
Miss Lottie Souther is staying with her sister, Mrs. Holt, of Enka.
Mr. and Mrs. Summey, of Black Mountain, attended the singing here Sunday.
Rev. Huntley will fill his appointment at Hoopers Creek Sunday evening, July 14, at 2:30.
The first Sunday singing at Hooper Creek was well attended
Mr. and Mrs. Johnston and Mrs. White, of Greensboro, have returned home after visiting their relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Hardie.
Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Owen, of Greer, S. C., were Fourth of July visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Freno Dockings.
