Capt. Bover, of the Emma, who left Alvarado about the 2d of September, has furnished us with a file of Mexican papers, and a narrative of the recent occurrences in that quarter. Alvarado continued very sickly. The frigate Dartmouth sailed 10 days before for Havana, and there were no English vessels of war at Sacrificios. A frigate and sloop of war were daily expected from England. Officers had been despatched to Acapulco to take charge and bring round the Asia 64 and brig Constante, recently given up by the Spanish crews.

The firing between the Castle and town of Vera Cruz, had again ceased. The prisoners taken by the Victoria, were given up.
