Emil Huff, secretary of the United Brewery Workers Union, Local 87. CIO stated in a letter that there seems to be some confusion regarding the status of union membership among the drivers for the Maumee Valley Distributing Co.

He explained that his letter is intended to erase confusion and doubt about their union status. He stated that the drivers employed by that company are members in good standing and they also deliver all union made beer. He included the following brands as union made beer; Deihls, Barbarosa and Burger.

Mr.Huff pointed out to a recent election among the drivers with the vote being unanimous in favor for a union.
