NEW PARTY, WITH NEW IDEAS, FOR MEXICO

Mexico City, Mexico, April 24.

A new political party, with "Functional Representation" as a basis, will be formed in Mexico this spring. So announces General Salvador Alvarado, father of the party, who was commanding officer of the revolutionary army in Yucatan in 1915.

Geographical representation will be more or less done away with, under the plans of the new party and members of congress will represent certain professions and economic interests rather than geographical divisions.

Alvarado is one of a group of intellectuals who have banded into an organization here.
