WOMEN MAY VOTE IN ATLANTA WHITE PRIMARY.

ATLANTA, April 29.-A proposal to allow women to vote in the city's white primary will be considered by the city executive committee at a meeting to be held Saturday. A delegation of prominent Atlanta women plans to appear before the committee and urge their claims to be allowed the ballot in the primary next fall, when aldermen, councilmen and a few other city officials will be chosen.

There is no state law governing the municipal primary and members of the city executive committee have indicated the belief that women are eligible to vote since there is nothing to prevent it except the ruling of the committee itself.

Suffragists of Atlanta are jubilant over what is termed the opportunity to secure the ballot for women even in this limited degree.
