Revival in Candia, N. H.

Bro. Burr:—For the encouragement of God's people, I would say that the long night of moral darkness with us has passed away, and God has favored us with a revival of his work. We have just closed our protracted meeting, which lasted 9 days. The revival has been solemn, deep and thorough. The church has been very much revived and encouraged. Quite a number have been reclaimed from their backslidings, and some 8 or 10 have been hopefully converted to God. Others are yet inquiring the way to Zion.—Our prayer is that the work may not stop until many more shall ground their weapons of rebellion and enlist under King Jesus. We were favored with the labors of Elders K. R. Davis and I. G. Davis. But to God be all the glory.
