Reside In County.

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Furlong, Jr. and child returned this morning from a few days trip to San Antonio and according to a statement made by Mr. Furlong this morning they will make their future home in this vicinity.

Mr. Furlong has owned for some little time a ranch in the Pato country which is located in the Northeastern part of Webb county and he has just purchased several thousand additional adjoining acres known as the Romaldo Vela ranch, which adds considerably to the size of the ranch.

"I have come back to make this country my home," said Mr. Furlong, "and intend to live here most of the time. The ranch I will stock with cattle and horses and take up ranching as a business."

Mr. Furlong during his short residence in the vicinity has made many friends and all who know him congratulate themselves on having him for a neighbor. Mr. Furlong is the type of settler that Webb county is seeking, for he will do all in his power to develop his property besides adding a name to the list of the substantial business men of the vicinity. The TIMES welcomes Mr. Furlong and family into the community.
