At the entrance of the council into the church, the 10th hymn of the first book of Dr. Watt's collection was sung, with great propriety, by a choir of singers; and the exercises were closed by an anthem from the 2d chap. of Luke. A crowded assembly did themselves honour, by the propriety of their conduct, comporting with the solemnities of the day.
