ARC Will Help Fishermen Who Had Storm Loss

The American Red Cross is going to try to aid fishermen whose boats were sunk or damaged by last Friday's freak wind storm, and those whose nets were destroyed in a fire which hit Marathon about a month ago.

Allan Hampton, chairman of the Key West Red Cross Chapter, said that Miss Margaret Purman of the disaster staff of the ARC will arrive here on Thursday to work out with the local chapter, which is now taking applications from fishermen.

Miss Purman is coming to Key West directly from Louisiana, where she has been working with persons who sustained similar damage in October's hurricane.
