Brotherhood Joins
NAACP For Life,
Donates $500

NEW YORK—Newest paid-in-full Life Member of the NAACP is the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters which recently sent a check for $500 to the Association. The International Executive Board of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters voted at its session in Chicago, first of the month, to take out the Life Membership "because of the splendid work the Association is doing for the advancement of the colored people." A. Philip Randolph is international president of the union; Ashley Totten, international secretary-treasurer.
