Caution To Quacks.—The Coroner yesterday fully committed a person who styles himself Doctor Septimus Hunter, charged with having caused the death of Mrs. Couzens, in Madison street, by improperly treating her during her accouchement. The Coroner held an inquest on her on Sunday, and immediately after the verdict was rendered, he caused Hunter to be arrested and detained for further examination, which the Coroner proceeded to hold yesterday. But Hunter, by advice of his Counsel, refused to answer any questions, and was committed for trial.—New York Journal of Commerce.
