Indian War Likely.

LANDER, Wyo., March 17.--A dispatch from the Shoshone agency reports that Jim Washakie, who was shot down by the half-breed, Will Lamoureaux is in a dying condition. Should Washakie die, the Indians will avenge him by making war on a number of Sioux half-breeds who are on the reservation. The Sioux and Shoshones had many battles from 1867 to 1873, and tradition says that the Shoshones consider themselves to have been badly treated by the Sioux warriors, and they have never had an opportunity since to get their revenge.
