AIR ARMADA MAY BE
SEEN OVER PUTNAM

The greatest air fleet ever assembled
at one time will visit Boston, Monday.
It is expected that either the whole
or at least a part of the army air
armada will pass over Putnam.

Boston is making extensive preparations
to receive this great fleet of 672 air
corps planes mobilized Wednesday
near Dayton, Ohio. Orders have been
issued for the first division to proceed
to New York to continue intensive
training in anticipation of imaginary
combat operations off the Atlantic
coast. It is this division that is expected
to arrive in Boston Monday
where the flight hours will be from
noon until 2 p. m. If the shortest
route from New York to Boston is followed
Putnam citizens will see many
of these hundreds of planes taking
part in the present manoeuvres.
