LOS ANGELES, (A) - Rugged John Wayne leaves a sick bed today to angrily refute his Mexican wife's charges of infidelity, drunkenness and brutality.
"I'll be on that stand getting some things off my chest, even if they have to carry me in on a stretcher," promised Wayne.
"I'm not going to sit idly by and hear myself and friends made the victims of vicious lies.
"I will refute my wife's accusations one by one.
That's for sure."
