BOSTON March 21.

OUR BANISHED SEAMEN.

Extract of a letter from the master of an American vessel at Greenock, (G. B. ) to his owner in this country.

" I dont know what I shall do for men, I have not one on board except the mate.-- Sailors think the embargo is not coming off, so they are afraid to come home, for fear they shall starve ; and prefer sailing in British ships. I shall get runners to go with me to Liverpool, and take the chance of getting men there ; for you might as well ask a man here to jump overboard, as to go to America."

Another extract of a letter from the same to his father in Gloucester.

" i have not a sailor on board my vessel, except my mate, for they expect the embargo will never be taken off, and they prefer a British ship to coming home to their once plentiful country to starve."
