Naples June 17. The distempers and mortality begin to subside; and as it has been found, they proceed from the bad quality of the corn, it has been resolved, that whatever damaged grain or flour may yet be found here, shall be thrown into the sea, at the distance of forty miles from shore. These diseases have carried off many persons of quality. Duke Giordani who lately lost one of his sons, who was in the army, and has besides the grief of seeing his eldest son, and the Duchess his comfort, greatly out of order.
