Cumberland--J. W. Jenks (Jackson) elected over Smith Arnold, by 23 majority. Mr. Whipple re-elected.
Cranston--Hazard for Lieut. Governor had 121, Collins 66.
Scituate--Hazard 235, Collins 140; Jackson Representatives elected by 40 and 60 majority.
North Providence--Hazard 65, Collins 81.
Burrillville--The vote for Fenner in this town as well as Foster, was mainly brought about by an 'Investigator' lie, attributing to Mr. Arnold a law to increase the size of coal baskets, to their proper dimensions. Smith Paine (Jackson) and Joel Paine (anti) were chosen Representatives.
Little-Compton--Representatives, Nathaniel Tompkins and Jediah Shaw, in place of S. Almy. For Lieut. Governor, James F. Simmons 52, Collins 35, Hazard 23, scattering 4.
Tiverton gave 60 for Simmons as Lieut. Gov. Collins 38.
East-Greenwich, Warwick, North-Providence and Warren Representatives re-elected.
Coventry--N. Bowen and Hopkins (N. R.) elected Representatives over Vaughn and Whale (Jackson) by 5 and 19 majority.
Smithfield--Majority for Arnold, 55; for anti-Jackson Senators 75.
Newport--Collins majority will be very small, in that town.
Bristol--Ichabod Davis was elected over John Howe, on fifth ballot. Howe 79, Davis 90, scattering 8. Collins was erased from the Arnold Prox, but received more votes than Fenner on the Jackson Prox.
Warren--Collins 134, Hazard 5.
Westerly--Anti-Jackson Representatives re-elected.
