Shooting Affair.

At Washington, on Wednesday evening of last week, James W. Schaumberg shot Edward H. Fuller, wounding him in the side so as to seriously endanger his life. Mr. S. was arrested and placed in prison. Some difficulty had arisen between them, and Fuller had posted up placards, denouncing Schaumberg as a 'liar, coward, and swindler.' This being unresented by S. his friends began to cut his acquaintance; and thus he was driven to the violent act. This is the story given in the papers. A great excitement was produced.
