Here in interest of Red Cross.

A. E. Gilman of Boulder, formerly engaged in the extension work of the state university, but now field agent for Colorado for the Red Cross, was a visitor in Canon City Friday afternoon and this morning. Mr. Gilman was accompanied by H. E. Tinney of Denver, an assistant field agent for the Red Cross. The latter is making his first tour thru this part of the state. Mr. Gilman has been given a leave of absence by the state university until May 1st, and expects to be sent abroad shortly for overseas service. Mr. Gilman came down from Cripple Creek on the stage Friday afternoon and Mr. Tinney came in on the train Friday night from Denver. They left on Rio Grande train No. 1, today for Salida.
