SAND LAKE

Mr. and Mrs. B. P. Johnson returned home from Jessie Lake Thursday where they have been visiting at the Elmer Alzen home. The high school students arrived home from Deer River Wednesday to spend the Thanksgiving holidays at their homes here. Miss Alfhild Gregerson spent the holidays at her home at Bigfork. We were all glad to hear that our mail man, Pete Oslund, who has been seriously ill at the hospital in Grand Rapids is improving. Beatrice Menard spent the Thanksgiving vacation at her home here. The following were guests Thanksgiving day at the B. P. Johnson home: Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Alzen and sons, Sammy Lloyd and Bert of Jessie Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dowling, Jr., and family.
