TAKEN TO HOSPITAL.—J. O. Packard, Co. D, 6th Ohio Cavalry, formerly of Medina, Ohio, attended by his wife, arrived at the Soldiers' Home in this city yesterday morning. They are just from the hospitals at Washington, where he has been languishing for months. Wounded seven months since in the upper part of the thigh, he has suffered almost more than mortal can suffer, and is now reduced to semi-delirium. The Surgeon in charge of the Home, examining his case yesterday, considered his recovery extremely doubtful. He was sent to the Military Hospital.

His faithful wife is well nigh exhausted with the tremendous work which has been laid upon her to do. She followed him yesterday afternoon to the hospital.
