ACTIVE SUMMER IN KLONDIKE
All of the Klondike is beginning extensive operations for big spring and summer mining operations.
The Yukon Gold company's machine shops, with 70 men, are preparing a fleet of 10 dredges and 20 hydraulic plants, which will start operation on the various creeks this month.
The Canadian Klondike company opened its machine shops at the same time and is busily engaged in preparing its dredges.
The latter company has ordered duplicates of its dredge "Canadian," which is the largest in the world.
It has buckets of a capacity of 15 cubic feet.
