January was a very good month for the library according to the report of the librarian given at the monthly meeting of the Civic Club last Saturday.

The sum of $14 was received for library privileges, and 175 books and 49 magazines loaned.

There is a constant demand for new fiction on the part of patrons and numerous calls for books on Alaska.

The following books have been received during the past month:

The Gentleman of Courage, Curwood;
The Sea Hawk, Sabatini,
