Columbia, March 15.—Among the bills introduced in the senate last week was one by Senator Alan Johnstone of Newberry, which was as follows: Be it enacted by the general assembly of the State of South Carolina: That an act entitled "An Act to Provide for the Appointment of Township Assessors for Newberry county," approved February 23, 1922, and designated as Act No. 483 of the acts of the general assembly for the year 1922 be, and the same is hereby, repealed.
This act shall take effect immediately upon its approval by the governor.
