Each year the Rotary Clubs of Cincinnati sponsors a World Affairs Day to which are invited youths from high schools throughout the state. The young men are chosen by their local Rotary Club.
Going to Cincinnati last weekend for the 1957 Council were Allen Alexander and Alf Kolbenstvedt, as guests of Eastern Cleveland Rotary. During the sessions, the youth study world affairs from their own viewpoints and what effect such affairs may well have on their own lives; and what they, as youths can do to better world conditions.
An added pleasure over the weekend came to Alf who chanced to meet a family from his home town who invited him to dinner in their home.
Both boys are enrolled at Shaw High School.
