IN MEMORIUM.
In sad but loving remembrance of
our dear baby, Georgia Burgess, who
departed this life one year ago, Sep-
tember 25. 1926.
One year has not brought forgetting
But only remembering more!
My precious, no words can express it
For we have missed you so!
Our arms have just ached with long-
ing
To hold you close again, baby dear
And our hearts have been so hungry
For the sight of your little face so
fair.
We've grieved over the pleasure de-
nied us,
Your body and soul to feed,
But oh! what a joy to remember
That the master has supplied your
need.
'Tis a comfort to our
poor
aching
hearts
To think He who holds the world
in His hand
Has chosen my own little flower one
To grace his beautiful Heaven
land.
When we think of our treasure in
Heaven
Our souls are homesick to go up
there,
But our Father, if we're needed by
loved ones on earth,
Help us first fulfil our mission here.
But some day we will come at your
bidding
And oh, what joy that will be,
To see once more our little one
And to dwell forever with Thee.
