RAILROAD BRIDGE.—The correspondent of the Baltimore Sun says :—

«All the stone piers at the Long Bridge are built and the embankment nearly completed. The piers are limestone structures based on piles driven to great depths and filled in with stone and cut off below low-water mark. The embankments have been revetted and filled anew, and the whole structure based two feet above its former level. It is said that on the whole line between Washington and Alexandria a close fence will be erected to separate the turnpike from the railroad track, and thus avoid danger to horses and vehicles on the turnpike.»
