Thursday last a Snow arrived at Cape Anne in 5 Weeks from Lisbon, the Master of which informs that on Saturday the 10th of March, being about 6 Leagues S. W. from Lisbon, at 2 o'Clock he saw two Sail, one bearing N. E. the other N. N. W. and by going to the Mast Head he discovered a Fleet bearing N. E. one Ship made all the Sail she could after him, but at 4 o'Clock she tack'd and made a signal for the Windward Ship to give him Chase, at 7 o'Clock she came up with him, he proved to be the Lizard Frigate, Capt. Doak, who sent his Lieutenant on board, and informed him that the Fleet he saw consisted of 28 Sail, all bound to America; that there was 7 Sail of Men of War, two Admirals, Saunders and Hardy, that they were going to Madeira to join another Fleet, and that the Lizard had receiv'd Orders the Day before to proceed to New York.
