El Centro's high school's future farmer group had three boys to thank for spreading the fame of their chapter Saturday as Carl Vogt returned from a trip to the Poultry Congress in Cleveland where he represented the Far West, and as Henry House and Bob Procsal prepared to attend Governor's day at the San Francisco exposition where they will receive awards for outstanding future farmer work during their four years of high school.
Vogt, who was accompanied to the poultry congress by Elwood Spencer, FFA instructor at El Centro high, earned the trip by placing high in the state poultry judging contest last spring.
Procsal and House will make their trip to San Francisco on Sept. 7, where they will receive award for meritorious work in the future farmer organization. House is president of the state group.
