CRACKER BARREL

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the UN Assembly in Paris on Dec 10 1948, completely ignores God as the Origin of these rights. As the representative of the Netherlands objected, the fact that man's rights and freedoms are based on his Divine origin and immortal destiny, the fact that there is a Supreme Being who is the font of these rights, increases their value and importance. To ignore this relation would mean the same thing as breaking a plant from its roots or building a house and forgetting its foundations.

I doubt if this omission was accidental.
