Full Text

Count Seckendorff having entered Bosnia, took several Forts and Castles, and obliged as good as 4000 Turks to retire further into the Country. The Siege of Zwornick is resolved upon, which will greatly facilitate the entire Conquest of Bosnia, where the Germans propose to take up their Winter Quarters, as that Province abounds with Forage and Provisions. 2000 Russians are upon their March thro' Moldavia, to join Count Wallis in Wallachia; and 'tis thought, the whole Russian Army will join Count Seckendorff as soon as the Crim and the adjacent Parts are entirely conquered. The total Defeat of the Tartars by General Lacy, is a good Step towards it; but his last Piece of News stands in Need of Confirmation. 'Tis not however doubted, but the Russians will in a very Short Time complete the Conquest of the Crim, and then they will be at Liberty to back the Imperial Forces with their whole Strength, and the Emperor may thereby be enabled to end what Troops he pleases to Italy, without hurting the common Cause in Hungary.
