FOR THE WHIG.

To Messrs. McCarthy, Cabell, Chinn, McComas of Wythe, Mason, Winston, Morgan, and Edgington.

Gentlemen—Permit me to request you to write out your very able and interesting Speeches in the Senate on Mr. Morgan's substitute to the Judiciary Bill. I think it the most interesting to the People, had in Virginia since the late Convention. The votes of the Senate, being 16 for the substitute and 16 against it, are sufficient to shew the importance of the question and to gratify you, nay to make it rather a duty to lay before the Public your Speeches.
