Will Discuss Cotton Values and Other Topics of Much Importance.

An important meeting of the Sumter County Division of the Southern Cotton Association will be held at the courthouse here this morning.

The meeting will be called to order at ten o'clock, and the greater part of the morning will be consumed in discussing subjects of great interest to the farmers, more particularly the price of cotton and how best, by united action, to secure full value for the staple. Numbered among the members of this division are many of the leading and progressive farmers of the county; men who have made farming a success, and who demand fair reward for their labor.

This meeting will be the first one of the new cotton year and many matters of interest and importance will be discussed.
