Family Broils.

We suppose that as a general rule we ought not to rejoice in the fact that jars and broils will occur in the best regulated families. The Intelligencer of yesterday said 'The Express of this city last evening came out boldly for the Radical candidate, and recommended Col. John W. Forney for a place in his Cabinet.'

At this the Express flares up and deals the following blows square in the face of its brother Democrat and amiable neighbor.

The Express says: 'We regret that our articles of yesterday are disapproved of by the venerable and always reliable 'apostles of Democracy' who control the Intelligencer. It seems the Express can do nothing to please these gentlemen, and we are forced to the conclusion that the 'green-eyed monster' has something to do with it. Men's motives are judged by their actions. Even if the Express had 'gone over,' it at least waited until the contest was ended, and did not change colors in the face of the enemy when the fight raged fiercest. When the editor of the Express goes over to the enemy, he will be found keeping company with the whole Democracy of the country.'

'The venerable and always reliable apostles of Democracy', is good, considering the antecedents of the Intelligencer. But we will not interfere to prevent our neighbors from keeping up this spicy controversy.
