Interracial Series

BROOKLYN The Brooklyn Catholic Interracial Council is sponsoring a course of eight lectures on the Catholic interracial movement. Beginning January 18, the lectures will be held every other Thursday evening at 8 o'clock in St. Joseph's Commercial High School; Willoughby St., corner of Bridge St. here.

Council officers have planned the course to serve the needs of Catholic leaders now participating in the interracial cause

Subjects will include: "Catholic Teachings on Human Rights,"
"The Negro in- American Life,"
"The Negro Community, Democracy and Discrimination,"
"The School in the Negro Community,"
and "Progress and the Task Ahead."

Speakers include: Archibald F. Glover, president of the Council; George K. Hunton, editor of the Interracial Review; and Thomas F. Nevins, . principal of Decatur High School.
