STRUCK BY AUTOMOBILE
Eugene Brassard, Jr., eight-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Brassard of 325 Main Street, was slightly injured Friday night when he was struck by a Southbridge, Mass., automobile at the intersection of Bridge and Main Streets. The driver stopped immediately and took the boy to the office of Dr. John J. Russell which is situated nearby.
The boy was treated and allowed to return to his home. Police investigated but did not hold the Southbridge driver. The father of the victim is a road foreman for the Town of Putnam.
