The revival meetings at the Methodist Protestant church continue, with increasing interest. Two services are held daily, in the afternoon and at night. Large congregations attend at both meetings. The night service especially draws immense crowds, the spacious building being almost packed.

Rev. L. R. Dyott, of Newark, N. J., who is conducting the meetings, assisted by the pastor Rev. T. M. Johnson, has preached some able and admirable sermons and the people hear him gladly. He is ready of speech with an easy flow of language and expresses himself in plain, simple terms but always convincing. Deeply in earnest, powerful in appeal and effective in argument, he is at the same time free from sensationalism of any kind. Mr. Dyott's manner is pleasing and agreeable out of the pulpit as well as in it and since he has been among us he has made many warm friends and sincere admirers.
