Loss on Both Sides Considerable-
Lieut. McKinney, Fourth Cavalry,
Killed.

Chicago, ILL., November 28. - General Crook, under date at Camp on Crazy Woman's Fork, November 28, reports that Colonel Mackenzie, of the Fourth cavalry, attacked the Cheyenne camp, consisting of a hundred lodges on the west fork of Powder river, on the 25th, capturing the village and a greater portion of the Indians. Loss on both sides thought to be considerable, but not definitely ascertained when the courier left. Lieutenant McKinney, of the Fourth cavalry, was killed.
