MICKLER PLEASED WITH NEWSPAPERS

SUCCESSFUL SALE HELD WHEN NEWS OF IT IS GIVEN EXCLUSIVELY IN HERALD AND REPUBLICAN

That The Herald and Republican compose the greatest newspaper combination in Southern Oregon was easily demonstrated last Friday, when the public auction sale of the property of M. P. Mickler occurred.

News of the sale was published exclusively in The Herald and Republican. The result was that instead of about 100 people being present, as expected by Mr. Mickler, there were almost 300 there, and instead of being obliged to keep some of his property because of the failure of buyers to be present, every article offered was sold and at prices about 25 per cent above what had been expected.

Practically every part of the county was represented at the sale, thus demonstrating that The Herald and Republican thoroughly cover the Klamath country.
